Ingratitude, Baskerville, and European Dream look set to dominate this contest, and Ingratitude can lead them home. A decisive winner at Newcastle earlier this month, Richard Guest's European Dream was a good third at Chester last week in a decent race, denied a clear run and staying on at the finish. He looks set to run well here. Baskerville is lightly raced and has shown bags of ability already. A good second at Newmarket, he showed determination to get his head in front on his re-appearance. Likely to come on for the run, Baskerville should go close. After some respectable efforts last season, Ingratitude stepped up significantly on those efforts when touching off the well fancied Plum Pudding at Windsor. That form is solid with Plum Pudding winning since, and Ingratitude can take advantage of his shrewd trainer's decision to turn him out under a penalty. Ingratitude gets the vote.
