Silk Blossom is highly rated by Barry Hills and we take her to make it back to back wins before a tilt at Royal Ascot's Queen Mary, while Gilded looks best of the rest. Barry Hills's runners are still in decent form and he did not expect Silk Blossom to go as well as she did first time up, so with that run under her belt she looks more than capable of showing these rivals a clean pair of heels. Gilded is in cracking form having completed a hat-trick already this spring and she must come into calculations. Strictly on the book she has achieved the most on the racecourse out of this field and although she prefers decent ground she has won with cut. She may not be open to the improvement of the selection however, ans so is just opposed. There are a number of other winners in the field who merit a mention, and with Tim Easterby in such good form the best of them may turn out to be soft ground Ripon winner Kerry's Dream. Nottingham scorer Down The Well would like to hear her hooves rattle, as would Camissa, whose trainer Dean Ivory said she won in spite of the soft ground at Windsor last time. Amber Valley is getting the hang of things and is well regarded by Karl Burke, but Silk Blossom fits the bill for us and gets the nod.
