Shipmaster, Contemplation and Dipped Wings are the ones that command attention here, and Shipmaster is taken to follow up a promising run last time and lead them home. Mark Johnston's debutante Contemplation is a son of Sunday Silence and is a full brother to a useful winning two year old. He hails from the family of the top class Miesque and although it is his first appearance, the stable have had a winning debutant and he looks set to go well. John Dunlop's runners are always worth noting in these staying handicaps and his Dipped Wings may improve for the step up in trip. The daughter of In The Wings has shown little to date however, and you suspect the trainer is only hopeful at best. Alan King had a big race winner at York on Wednesday, and his Shipmaster will be hard to beat here. The son of Slip Anchor will relish any give in the ground, and he improved significantly for a step up in distance last time. He looks set to lose his maiden tag here, and Shipmaster is expected to sail home.
