Verdict

The yards involved suggest this could well be an above average juvenile contest for the time of season in which the market, as usual, should be instructive. Richard Fahey fires a double salvo with Tony Hamilton aboard newcomer Clouds Rest whilst Adam Kirby takes the mount on once-raced BURTONWOOD. The latter seemed sure to make a successful debut at Leicester before succumbing in the final strides to the rallying and more experienced Flyball who ran a fair fourth at the Craven meeting during the week. Newcomers Celestial Vision, Dr No and Emef Rock all look interesting on paper but experience can often prove to be such a decisive factor in these early juvenile skirmishes and Burtonwood gets the nod to go one better.
