HUDOO may hold the magic sign over her rivals although Babycakes has proved a revelation since handicapping and it wouldn't be a surprise if, after musing over the race, many may decide that she's the one to side with whilst Wulfrida and Spicewood should also be considered. The selection is the least experienced runner in the line-up but she's probably the filly with the most scope and looks to have been allotted a fair mark. It's easy enough to pick holes in the form of her Wolverhampton maiden win but she looked ill at ease on the track and can be rated better than the bare form whilst she's bred to make a better three year old. Babycakes was backed as though defeat was out of the question at Wolverhampton and duly obliged with ease so it's no surprise to see her turned out quickly before the handicapper can react. Spicewood and Yankee Bright have shaped with promise as has Wulfrida who didn't enjoy the best of runs at Beverley last time although it's worth noting that the winner has finished well held since. An Oaks entry may be flying a little high but Hudoo may be able to hit the right note here.
