Verdict
A chance is taken with Askwith in the finale, with Three Boars and Royal Sailor rated as the main dangers. The last named has taken a while to come to hand but has been running encouragingly of late. this trip is not a problem for him and he is easily capable of making the frame if he runs true to form. Three Boars won a five-runner affair at Yarmouth in good style last month and is respected on the pick of his efforts. He is only 3lb higher for this and should go close again. Joey could also feasibly get involved at the finish now that she has proved that she stays the trip. However, preference goes to Askwith, who is open to a fair bit more improvement, comes here on the back of several decent efforts and rates as the best value in a tricky race to fathom.
