On The Fairway will be a popular choice after winning on her handicap debut at this track last time out. Her trainer is in good form and the filly is probably still ahead of the handicapper meaning she should put in another good performance. However these three-year-old handicaps are tricky affairs at this time of year with several in the line-up open to significant improvement. Welsh Lady runs from out of the handicap after stepping up from selling company but could run well at a big price. Lake Eyre is progressing with every run and holds a chance here although she encounters faster ground for the first time. Long Tall Sally has been running better than her bare form figures would suggest but one who may just be the value against the favourite is Madame Maxine who has done nothing wrong to date. She comes to Nottingham on the back of a good second to the useful Compton Dynamo at Lingfield and is a tentative choice in a tricky race.
