A chance is taken with Brave Mave, who gets the nod over Sky Dive and Jaser, while Elysee Palace is also worth noting in the betting. The last named was struck-into on her reappearance last month but makes a quick return to action; so it is safe to assume the incident was no more than an unfortunate occurrence. Michael Jarvis' filly created a good impression with a couple outings as a juvenile and she is capable of taking a hand in this company if all is well with her. Jaser won with a bit in hand over course and distance a fortnight ago ad is likely to be a popular choice. The ground will suit and a big run can be expected. However, an 8lb rise looks harsh and he needs to post an improved effort. Sky Dive is a long term prospect and, were it not for the quiet start made by Luca Cumani, he would be given a stronger build up. Recent evidence suggests he may need the outing and is passed over today; with Brave Mave getting the nomination as the one for the money. The daughter of Daylami made very good progress last season and, form a mark of just 74, she has room to manoeuvre in the ratings. The William Jarvis-trained filly will love the ground and she is fancied to be hard to beat here.
