        Verdict

        It should pay to side with CRITICIZE in division two of this maiden; Dreamcoat and Fluster appeal most of the others. Roger Charlton's newcomers usually come on for the experience so it was encouraging to see our selection run so well on his debut at Newbury. He was only narrowly beaten that day and he looks a colt to stay on the right side of. Dreamcoat finished narrowly behind our selection in that Newbury race but he had the benefit of two previous runs and there might be a little more to come from our selection. Fluster is making his racecourse bow here and Mark Johnston has a good strike-rate with his newcomers here so he merits serious consideration. This is not a track where Michael Bell does particularly well with his juveniles so Gassin is readily opposed, returning us to Criticize as the choice.
