John Quinn's Select Committee would have every chance on the pick of his form but the yard have been struggling to have winners with any regularity for some time and he may be booked for a place at best with a better option looking to be LORD OF THE REINS, who gets the verdict ahead of Simple Rhythm. The last mentioned was good value for her win at Kempton two starts ago and was not disgraced at Windsor subsequently but she is now 9lbs higher than when successful at Kempton and may be a shade high in the weights. Nigel Tinkler's King Of Swords was not disgraced behind Bahamian Ballet at Nottingham last time but is strictly held by the David Evans-trained Vhujon on running that day and he is hard to recommend, although Vhujon does have claims. Preference though is for James Given's Lord of The Reins, who ran much better when a close up sixth behind Cape Royal at Ripon last time and he has every chance racing off the same mark today.
