DJALALABAD was a winner on her seasonal return and we tip her to follow up here today ahead of Fools Gold and Nick Littmoden's Lord Theo. The selection can be inconsistent but she is effective and the key to her is a strong pace. She got that at the last time of asking and came from last place to run them all down inside the last. With the filly it is purely down to whether she gets the race run to suit, and a little rise up the weights will not stop her winning again if she is granted those particular conditions. Four-year-old Fools Gold has recently joined the Paul Mason ranks and ran well in defeat at Southwell last time out. His form on artificial surfaces hasn't been great though and this switch to turf should prove to be of great benefit to the gelding who should be there or thereabouts in such lowly company. Lord Theo, who was third at Lingfield last time out, has more experience across the turf than the rest but tends to be fairly unreliable. He ran well in defeat last time though and was blinkered for the first time. He likes to race prominently and was happy to sit just off the pacemaker. The race here should suit, but the selection may be too good for him. Of the rest few make any appeal, inexperience and lack of good form should see our selection, Djalalabad, to victory.
