The last three winners of this race have been returned at double figure prices, including Darley Sun last term, but it would be no surprise to see HIGH ON A HILL and Dream Spinner dominate whilst Iron Condor may also be able to get involved. There's not a great deal to choose between High On A Hill and Dream Spinner on their form over twelve furlongs at Windsor with the runner up 2lbs better off for one and a quarter lengths. Both runners stayed on well enough so should be suited by this longer trip and boast solid credentials whilst it should also be noted that John Dunlop has won this race three times in the past ten years. Desert Recluse ran well enough on his turf debut and may find a little more for this longer trip with Lis Pendens and Nurai amongst others that are open to further improvement for this stiffer test. Captain Cool is relatively consistent but exposed unlike Iron Condor who is a half-brother to winning stayer At The Money suggesting that James Eustace's gelding is sure to improve for this stiffer test of stamina. He could go well but High On A Hill gets the nod.
