Dandy Nicholls farmed this race in the early 2000's and is taken to win this year's renewal with JOSEPH HENRY, although Invincible Force, Brae Hill and Invisible Man will prove hard nuts to crack. With a fair draw in stall six, the selection should be able to build on a very pleasing effort at Thirsk last month. He looks well-handicapped on a mark of 87 and despite not being a prolific winner he is fancied to score. Celtic Sultan is a course winner and represents a red-hot yard, Guilded Warrior's reappearance win at Leicester had plenty of substance to it, whilst Academy Blues has an entry at Southwell on Wednesday but is considered if taking part due to his vast progress. Dubai Dynamo continues to run excellent races (albeit in defeat), whilst Invincible Force knows how to win at the track and is respected despite looking high enough in the weights. Dunn'o should have fared better at Sandown (his favourite track) last time, so is opposed along with Brae Hill. This may be a dangerous tactic given he has joined a wildly progressive outfit, however despite a good draw he is taken on due to looking high enough in the weights now. Invisible Man will be popular with Frankie coming to Chester for the day but his best efforts have come on tracks with a longer run-in, Carcinetto is poorly handicapped, whilst Suroor is respected given her excellent record at this time of year. Top-weight Extraterrestrial is not out of it either, so in a competitive heat, it is Joseph Henry who is given the vote.
