      Verdict

      An obvious chance for Citrine Spirit to shine here and the Soviet Star filly is fancied to be a different proposition now that she has the benefit of a run behind her from this season. The Colin Tinkler-trained Crimson Star will not have to be anything out of the ordinary to get the better of the likes of Dark raider and Ses Seline, who have not shown much to date but appeal as the best of the rest with experience. However, Citrine Spirit - a 90,000gns purchase - stands out on pedigree alone and it will be a minor shock if she does not rid herself of the her maiden tag today.
