Whippasnapper has a decent pilot booked tonight and should take the race at the expense of Stoic Leader and Quiet Times. John Best's runner has made a long trip up North to take his chances here and over the six furlongs, he should have enough speed to take control of the race at an early juncture. Stoic Leader is in top form at the moment and while he is far from out of this, he probably would be better over further. Quiet Times has been in fair form on the all-weather during the winter and looks to be something of a reformed character. His strike rate on the turf is not so prolific and we will oppose tonight. Andreyev and Highland Warrior represent the Jim Goldie team. The former has been out of form for a long time while the latter is yet to score at this track after a number of attempts. Albashoosh and Lord Of The East are watched in the market while Blueberry Rhyme returns to the turf after a long and frustrating spell on the artificial surfaces. Whippasnapper gets our verdict.
