Verdict

He's A Rocket takes the nomination for the finale at the expense of Desert Light and Garnock Venture. Karl Burke's representative has taken time to find the winning thread and if showing no ill effects from his recent outing, he should reconfirm form with Garnock Venture in spite of a rise up the weights. Desert Light has had only one start on the surface having raced chiefly at Wolverhampton and Southwell. Connnections appear not to know what the ideal trip is at the moment and we will wait for further evidence. Short Chorus has chances on her best form and the booking of Kevin Darley makes some appeal. Icenaslice progressed throughout her juvenile career and the market is consulted to see if that improvement has continued throughout the winter. He's A Rocket is in good heart though and with Ben Swarbrick aboard, the partnership can take the nightcap.
