Plenty in with chances in an open sprint but Hiccups has solid credentials and is just preferred ahead of High Reach, Queen Of Night and Weet Watchers. Lynda Ramsden's gelding has shown a consistent level of form to finish in the frame in three sprint maidens this term and doesn't look harshly treated on a mark of 72 for his handicap debut. The son of Polar prince shapes as though the step up to six furlongs will suit and the booking of Kieren Fallon suggests connections expect a bold show. High Reach has held his form well having had a busy campaign on both all-weather and turf and this pacey type shouldn't be inconvenienced by dropping back in trip but is a little more exposed than the selection and could struggle under top weight. Queen Of Night boasts some decent juvenile form but lacks a recent outing and is probably best watched on this occasion while Weet Watchers may prefer more ease in the ground having put up his best effort in the mud at Haydock last time.
