      Verdict

      Eirene followed a promising debut at Yarmouth with an emphatic victory on soft at Doncaster and looks to have every chance of adding to her tally. ISLAND DRIVE looked to have lost her chance when the leader quickened right away at Kempton but she quickly reeled her in and should do even better on Turf so can go in again. Raven's Raft gets the maiden allowance though she was a bit disappointing when strongly fancied at Thirsk following a fine debut over this course and distance. Sands Of Mali went to York for his debut and, though eventually finishing mid-division, didn't get the run of the race and is expected to leave that form behind. The three newcomers are all nicely-bred and it would be no surprise to see any of them go well so the market should be watched for clues.
