Mademoiselle is the pick in the finale, with Amorist, Time To Regret and Caerphilly Gal others for the short-list. Mademoiselle and Amorist should have another good battle here, and in truth there should again be little between them. The pair met at Brighton just over a fortnight ago, with Barry Hills's filly coming out on top to the tune of half-a-length. There was only a pound between them at the weights then, and they now meet off levels, so Amorist should theoretically finish even closer. However, it was Mademoiselle that showed the better turn of foot by far, and with the ground and finishing straight in her favour here she can repeat the feat. Time To Regret gained his last victory at Redcar a year ago and is racing off around the same mark, but has been hard to place of late. He does at least go soft ground though and is at the bottom of the handicap here. Caerphilly Gal goes on the ground but her recent success at Brighton was on fast going, which is a bit off-putting, and in any case we much prefer the claims of Mademoiselle.
