FORJATT may be good enough to make a winning debut for Michael Jarvis with Brave Dream our pick for the forecast, although none of the four can be confidently discounted. Frankie Dettori's mount is a half-brother to a juvenile sprint winner whilst his dam is related to the group-class sprinter Mystical Land, so the signs are there that he could be above-average even at this early stage. Further encouragement can be taken from the fact his yard continues to fire in winners and providing the market makes positive noises he could be a cut above these. Of the remaining three it's the pair who have already raced that make most appeal, with Brave Dream narrowly preferred to Slatey Hen. Kevin Ryan's son of Sleeping Indian is bred for speed and the support he attratced on debut when sent off a 6/4 favourite suggests he's a good deal better than he showed that day, when a slow start ended any chance of winning. Providing he's learned from that we should expect a very different performance here. Slatey Hen is a half-sister to Masta Plasta and is another who should leave her debut behind. Easy to back that day, she offered very little, but Alan McCabe should have her primed for a better run here. Gold Pearl completes the lineup and this half-brother to 1000 Guineas second Arch Swing cannot be ruled out, although this trip may be on the sharp side so he's overlooked in favour of Forjatt.
