Verdict

All three of those with experience have come up against a Ballydoyle-trained winner. Gold Post made a bright start when runner-up to subsequent winner Zoffany at Leopardstown in April and has been given a nice break. Little Fairy was a good third to Catherineofaragon at Dundalk but the runner-up has since been well beaten while Unlikely Hero was a long way behind Eskimo at Tipperary. It wouldn't be a major shock to see this going to a newcomer and Kevin Prendergast's speedily-bred One Cool Cat filly CAT FIRE fits the bill as she looks certain to be primed for first-time action. Jockey bookings suggest Biting Back may prove the best of the Ger Lyons' pair at this stage of the season.
