The three against the field here are Out For A Stroll, Vermilion Creek and Quantum Leap, with Out For A Stroll the likely victor. The Stuart Williams trained gelding got off the mark for the season with a comfortable victory at Leicester a fortnight ago, beating Magic Amour by a long looking length and a half, and having regained the winning thread could very well start up a sequence. Magic Amour has a slight weight advantage this afternoon, but the manor of the success suggests Out For A Stroll should confirm the form. So it may be left to Vermillion Creek to chase home the selection. Reg Hollinshead's filly has on the whole, been in good form all season, and although it was only a weak apprentice handicap she landed last time, she does get in here with a fighting weight. Quantum Leap could join in the battle following a promising fourth to Ice Cracker at Goodwood, but in a very competitive heat Out For A Stroll is put forward as the selection, with each-way chances given to Vermilion Creek and Quantum Leap.
