pulled hard, made all, ridden over 1f out, all out
in touch, ridden and headway over 1f out, every chance inside final furlong, no extra close home
chased leaders, ridden halfway, weakened inside final furlong
slowly into stride, outpaced, kept on final furlong, never dangerous
Following three promising efforts, Fujisawa is fully expected to take this modest contest, with only Snow Wolf and Foursquare looking to have any hope of bustling up the selection. Mick Channon's filly is superbly bred, she's by Green Desert out of a Mr Prospector mare, and although not one of the stables rising stars, she looks to have found the perfect opportunity to open her account. Her latest effort was up at Redcar where she battled all the way to the line before giving way to the Barry Hill's trained Model Figure, indicating that her time wasn't far away. Of today's opposition, Snow Wolf displayed a lot of promise when fifth to Night's Cross at Bath. however that winner is trained by Channon, so he should know he stands. Foursquare has similar claims to Snow Wolf, having shown plenty of ability when going down by seven lengths to Philharmonic at York. In conclusion, unless either Foursquare or Snow Wolf show marked improvement, Fujisawa should easily take this prize.
