In depth

Verdict

After numerous close calls, Qabas is a confident choice to overpower Tea's Maid and Indian Dream. Alec Stewart's colt has taken on decent opposition since his introduction at Doncaster last November, and it is amazing he hasn't managed to secure a victory. However today's opponents don't appear too hot and this could be his day. Of his rivals Indian Dream couldn't handle the Wolverhampton surface last time but did show signs of ability at Warwick on her debut. Teas Maid is also worth a glance following her recent seasonal debut run at Carlisle when a promising fifth behind Jordan's Elect. Qabas though could have too much class and is taken to land the spoils, with Indian Dream and Teas Maid expected to fight out the places.
