This is little better than a seller, but nonetheless there are still some speedy types on show, none more so than Mary Jane, who faces her easiest task for a while. Nigel Tinkler's mare has faced some stiff tasks of late including when runner-up in a 0-85 contest over course and distance. This is a much easier task and she should make no mistake. Justalord isn't short of pace and will make sure Mary Jane doesn't have it too easy up front. However, if this was a handicap they would be meeting on level terms, but as Mary Jane has the advantage of the fillies allowance, that just swings it her way. Course and distance winner Pleasure Time has plenty to find on these terms, as does Run On. The maiden Kings College Boy has turned in a couple of sound efforts recently and is clearly on good terms with himself, but he does have something to find with the principals, while College Hippie has gone over a year since he last got his head in front. So this looks the ideal opening for Mary Jane to gain some compensation for recent near misses.
