Verdict

Rawdon deserves to get his head in front but Michael Bell's gelding is proving to be hard to win with and a better bet looks to be Le Beau Bai, who gets the vote with Cadoulitique rated the pick of the remainder. The selection is less exposed than most of these after just eight career starts and having failed to stay further in his last two starts looks worth supporting dropping back in distance today. Rosie's Glory was good value for her win in a claiming hurdle at Bangor last time and has to be considered back in a handicap today in receipt of weight all round. Nigel Hawke's Triple Bluff has claims on the form shown at Wincanton two starts ago but disappointed at Kempton last time and he now looks best watched. Miss Midnight could probably do with some help from the handicapper and of more interest may be David Pipe's Leicester chase winner Cadoulitique, who now reverts to hurdles. Pipe has a strong hand here and it is stable companion Le Beau Bai that gets the vote.
