Verdict

Just six runners contest this handicap chase but all can be given some sort of chance, we will side with Early Edition, with Garolsa and Shannon Water's put forward as the main rivals. Oliver Carter's eight-year-old was well beaten over a much shorter trip last time, but is better judged on his previous effort when chasing home today's rival Garolsa over course and distance. The selection went down by just three-quarters of a length and these two look set to fight out the finish again, but at the weights today Early Edition is fully expected to come out on top. Shannon Water's though will also be up there is reproducing her Fontwell running when she easily mastered Tudor King in a competitive handicap. Greenwich is also weighted to go close here, but Early Edition looks the pick of the handicap and gets our vote.
