Verdict

It took a while for the penny to drop with River Bray at Kempton in February but he stayed on well in the closing stages and has decent claims in this. Crooks Peak could be a newcomer to note but a couple of winning pointers are making their debuts under Rules in this with BRIANSTORM preferred to Timeforben. The Brian Boru gelding changed hands for 40,000 euros last year after winning by six lengths on Fairyhouse's point-to-point course and is now with a yard that do well in races of this type.
