Verdict
ANDESH just failed to match strides with Mendelssohn on his debut at the Curragh and started odds-on at Killarney where he was caught in the closing stages. Both races were over a mile so this trip looks ideal and Pat Smullen can pull one back on Colin Keane here in the title race. Man Power was only narrowly beaten in his first two starts at Leopardstown and was only a neck behind Cristale here last month so stepping up in trip shouldn't be a problem. Viscount Wilson ran well for a long way in heavy ground at Roscommon while River Boyne will have come on for his run behind U S Navy Flag at the Curragh in July.
