In depth

Verdict

A highly-competitive nursery featuring a host of recent winners. Canford's Joy and Captain Jameson appear of similar ability and that's reflected in their opening handicap marks. Tulip Fever is bidding for a fourth victory of the campaign but Roundhay Park may struggle having gone up a further 7lb. Beatbox Rhythm hasn't quite gone on from his Pontefract success but Zap got bogged down in the mud last time at Chester and he's probably the pick of his stable's three runners. GINBAR got off the mark at Haydock last month and followed up in a nursery at Chester. If a high draw doesn't prove a disadvantage, he could complete the hat-trick.
