In depth

Verdict

Sesame Rambler makes most appeal here and is preferred to Foolish Myth. The selection is taken to give weight and a beating to this field as his experience over regulation fences is sure to come in handy. He spoiled his chance with a poor display of jumping at Fontwell last time but that track has its idiosyncracies and he has proven his ability to act around here; better is expected. Foolish Myth failed to make an impression in three runs over hurdles but he has found his niche between the flags, has time on his side and won as he liked at Cherrybrook last time. Knighton Combe has been a consistent performer in points and will relish every yard of this trip. He has a top jockey in the saddle for assistance and won't fail for a lack of stamina but we think that Sesame Rambler will prove too strong in the finish.
