STUMPED could be an apt winner with the Test match in full flight and we'll recommend him to see off Master Wells and Critical Stage. Andy Haynes' charge seems to like life around Newton Abbot having took a seller at the course in June and then gone on to perform with credit behind Benetwood last month. He has shown an aptitude for a soft surface and should go well despite having to give plenty of weight all around. Master Wells and Critical Stage are both trained by Jimmy Frost and are worthy of respect. The former was in good nick earlier in the year though does need to reverse form with our selection on their most recent meeting. The latter is perhaps more well known in this grade and while arguably better over further, there is a cogent argument to suggest that her stamina will be brought into play this afternoon. Planetarium was a fair performer on the Flat for Mark Johnston but his hurdling efforts have been lamentable. Gracechurch had been tried at high levels over hurdles in the past and should be fit for this assignment having had a couple of recent runs on the flat. Fontwell winner, Massams Lane, is unproven under these conditions and is opposed. Frosty's Gift plugged on from a long way back on debut at Worcester and while not bred for this game, if there is any money for her, it should not be dismissed too readily. Stumped has done little wrong of late and sets a tough standard in what is an ordinary claimer.
