They may well come in for Raaeidd again but we've lost faith in him and will side with NORTHERN JEM ahead of the likes of Credit Swap. Jamie Spencer has a good record when riding for Jane Chapple-Hyam and the pair successfully combined with this son of Mark Of Esteem over course and distance last time. A 5lb rise still leaves him nicely treated and he's fancied to go in again. Credit Swap and Gold Express are in fine form but aren't certain to appreciate the rain if it arrives whilst they'll need career bests to defy their current marks. Prince Of Johanne battled well to win his maiden and should be better served by the longer trip but has no easy task taking on his elders and could be sent off at too short a price. Raaeidd drops back in trip and certainly has the ability to go close but he hasn't convinced with his attitude since a promising run at York and may prove best watched until proving otherwise. Preference, therefore, is for Northern Jem.
