CHOISEAU is taken to open his account for the season with success coming at the main expense of Cape Rock and Last Sovereign. The selection's reappearance was his first run on an all-weather surface and he became outpaced before running on again over six furlongs at Southwell so the longer trip should suit. His form at three reads well enough and he has the scope to rate much higher than his present mark. That can't be said of too many in this line-up but Cape Rock comes here in decent heart but he's climbing the weights and has a poor conversion rate. Last Sovereign has a one from one record when Dettori rides so the booking of the Italian pilot could be a pointer to his chances; he's on a mark from which he's competitive. Orlando's Tale was beaten a nose by My Gacho at Leicester in a modest handicap and they do battle again and are closely matched as one would expect. The Fanshawe runner is open to further progress but the Leicester winner is still well handicapped on his old form. Without Prejudice would have claims if the visor has the desired effect but that's not a risk we're prepared to take as we side with Choiseau.
