Adaikali produced a very good effort from just 1lb lower than this last time out and looks up to the task here, with Karaoke, Olivia Rose and Silvaline others to look out for. Adaikali has trip and ground in his favour, and won with a bit in hand at Pontefract on his penultimate start, before a 7lb rise was just too much for him in a Class C at Sandown last time. We should not be deterred by that defeat in the context of this race though and even a further 1lb up the weights still gives the colt an excellent chance, as he looks capable of pulling out what is required and taking this. Karaoke receives weight from all his rivals and has found form of late, winning at Windsor last time. He has gone up 3lb since and he should go well, but may just find that too much again. Olivia Rose is a likeable, gutsy and consistent filly who doesn't know how to run a bad race. We expect similar from her today and with conditions to her liking she can go very close, while Silvaline goes well over 10 furlongs and on most ground, but looks to have just a little too much weight at the moment. For the selection then, we return to Adaikali.
