Nosedive needs a market check on this first run for Richard Guest however JOE PACKET looks wildly progressive and is fancied to shrug off a 9lb rise in the weights; Tubby Isaacs and Skyfire may be the best of the remainder. John Portman's colt has won his last three starts, two for today's jockey John Fahy. His rise in the weights makes life tougher in this better race however the second home at Ascot has won easily since and another course and distance success beckons. Cheveton ran well in defeat at Ayr but his best form is over five furlongs, the drop back to six will suit Yer Woman, whilst Cornus and Quasi Congaree have both paid heavily for successful seasons. Of more interest are Tubby Isaacs who is only 7lb higher than his two wins this Spring, Skyfire who showed plenty of mettle at Newcastle just six days ago, and top-weight Shifting Star who runs the track well and looks fairly treated. This is no penalty kick but the progressive Joe Packet is taken to win again.
