    Verdict

The Johnstons’ yard has won the last two renewals and State Of Bliss is preferred to stablemate Love Is Golden. The former returned to winning ways at Ripon a week ago though is 5lb higher today and needs to reverse earlier running at Thirsk with Contact. The latter went close on that occasion and will be sharper for the run but it could pay to stick with MATCHLESS (NAP). Ivan Furtado’s charge has appreciated the return to Turf and landed a double over 1m2f at Doncaster with his latest success. Unexposed over this longer trip, another bold bid is expected. Tritonic has been hurdling but still looks high enough in the weights back on the Flat.
