Verdict
High Reserve, Colisay and Into The Dark are the three for the shortlist here and High Reserve gets the vote. Unbeaten last season, Into The Dark has yet to register a success this term despite being well fancied. He will be thereabouts but is likely to find one too good. Colisay won well at Doncaster last year but hasn¿t won since. He has been running in good quality handicaps and belied odds of 25-1 when finishing second here last time. This is a weak race by Listed standards and he can go well. James Fanshawe has a high opinion of High Reserve and that was vindicated when she scooted up at Nottingham. She finished sixth in a Listed contest last time but that was her first outing for three months and she may have needed the run. High Reserve can lead them home.
