      Verdict

      Volkan Star was no match for the impressive Mishriff here three weeks ago but this is his level and it will be a surprise if he’s not thereabouts again. Man Of The Night should pick up a decent handicap this year but may not be quite up to winning in this grade. Do You Love Me is bred in the purple, however, and will know much more after her debut in a maiden in which she only weakened inside the final furlong. THUNDEROUS looked useful in rattling up a hat-trick last year. There is stamina on his dam’s side and it may take a smart performance to lower his colours. Goddess Of Fire looks to be well out of her depth.
