In depth

Verdict

Bowman made a promising start on Polytrack at Lingfield and didn't look at his best when well supported at Pontefract. NORTONTHORPE BOY didn't get the best of runs on his debut and bumped into a well-supported winner over this course and distance next time when the remainder were well beaten. Tim Easterby's charge can go one better though Selfless Act was making steady headway over 5f at Beverley. Blowing Wind is a half-brother to 5f Listed winner Punta Arora while More Than Lucky is very speedily-bred.
