In depth

Verdict

BOCCACCIO has a nice pedigree and can extend his unbeaten record running in his first handicap – it’s clear he’s not inconvenienced by the lack of a recent run. Ayr Harbour has solid all-weather form and there is no reason why he won’t act on Turf but others have more scope. Raatea opened his account at Kempton earlier this month and is very consistent so makes more appeal than recent Sandown scorer Manigordo, who has to concede weight all round. Gifted Ruler and Stone Circle are even harder to recommend.
