Magical Speedfit may be the answer to the finale but the field features four last time out winners and any number of these have chances. They include Orpen's Art who finished in front of the selection over course and distance last time when ridden by Holly Hall but she did nothing wrong that day and the colt benefited from racing up with the pace. The selection was held up and got going too late to reach the leaders but that signalled a return to form for him and he can exact revenge. Requisite won tidily at Sandown but is deserted by Ryan Moore who resumes his partnership with Monsieur Reynard. This one won a shade cosily last time and a 4lb rise for that win is by no means harsh and he may well progress again now that he's got his head in front. Superduper was another winning for the first time when she scored at Chepstow; she has 7lbs more to shoulder but the second has won since to frank the form and she could be progressive. Regal Step looked a potential star at two but couldn't be supported with any confidence at present whilst Hadaf may need yet more help from the handicapper before he can win again. The selection has been frustrating to follow in the past but he looks to have got his act together now and Magical Speedfit can gain his second success.
