Up Tempo has won his last three starts, the latest of them on his first start for current connections, and has to be respected but this looks tougher off his new mark and preference is for Polish Index, who is taken to confirm recent form with Fasylitator. The selection was a ready winner of a mile handicap at Yarmouth last month, beating Fasylitator by six lengths and should confirm that form even on the revised terms. Golden Applause is entitled to need the run on his reappearance, while Highest Regard has not been seen since successful at Wolverhampton in November and may also need the run. Samuel Charles is gradually slipping to a fair mark and is another to consider along with top weight My Princess but Polish Index has solid claims on Yarmouth form and is taken to follow up here.
