Folio deserves to win a race of this nature but Willie Musson's gelding keeps finding at least one too good and may have to settle for a minor role again with preference for Desert Cristal, who gets the vote ahead of Active Asset. The last mentioned was good value for his win at Haydock last time but a 5lb rise for that success leaves Mick Channon's gelding with more to do. Day To Remember is closely matched with Folio on Windsor running and has to be considered, while Solo Flight is capable of taking a hand but is inconsistent. Namroc would have claims on his best form but has disappointed in his last two starts, while Sharp Reply would need to improve on the form shown on his reappearance to take a hand. The vote then goes to Jim Boyle's Desert Cristal, who ran up to his best when chasing home good winner Tabadul at Kempton last time and again has the assistance of Frankie Dettori.
