The lightly raced Signatory has to be of interest on his reappearance but lack of a recent run for John Gosden's colt has to be of some concern and a safer option looks to be River Alhaarth, who is preferred to Lets Roll. The selection looked more than a shade unlucky behind Stretton at Chester last time when tackling this trip for the first time and Peter Chapple-Hyam's colt is taken to gain compensation here. Feed The Meter is more exposed than many of these and a bigger threat may come from Young Mick, who has been in fine form on the all-weather all winter and has carried on in the same winning vein since returned to turf since; however he may now be in the grip of the handicapper. Sunisa was good value for his win last time but this looks tougher, while Alessano needs to improve considerably on what he showed on his reappearance to take a hand. Lets Roll lost nothing in defeat at York last time and has an obvious chance on that showing but River Alhaarth caught the eye at Chester and is taken to make amends today.
