Verdict

Charlie D won over today’s trip on the Rowley track here before struggling over a longer distance at Newcastle and has every chance. Mondain won over 2m at Newcastle last month but is 6lb higher while Nuit St Georges went close at Haydock last time having scored at Sandown earlier. BAASEM was still well beaten when third over 1m6f at Ascot with Sexy Beast tailed off but that was his first outing since September and much better is expected from Owen Burrows’ charge today.
