Two impressive recent winners here in Mawaddah and Calatrava Cape however TROVARE is given another chance after a battling fourth at Newbury last time out. Although Domination didn't truly frank the form at Salisbury on Wednesday, the feeling is that Trovare's last race will throw up some winners. Having raced wide for much of the way Amanda Perrett's smart colt did well to finish where he did and off the same mark today he can gain some revenge. Mawaddah has a 6lb penalty for his Kempton win last time out and he rates a big danger if lasting out over this longer trip (fairly well-held second when tried before), whilst Shelfah is progressive and was unlucky to bump into the progressive Bona Fortuna at Doncaster. Calatrava Cape always had the profile of a horse who would improve when trying middle distances and she sauntered home at Newmarket on her reappearance; this looks a tougher race but she cannot be ignored. Higgy's Ragazzo doesn't look to have trained on, whilst better is expected from Banana Republic now eased in the handicap. The unexposed Retrato is not ignored, however the vote is given to Trovare.
