As they did a week ago SACRILEGE, Eastern Gift and King Columbo can dominate this handicap with the former preferred, although all would change if support for Aviso arrived. Our shortlist all contested a course and distance amateur riders handicap last week with Sacrilege coming out on top. Unpenalised for that win, our pick looks worth sticking with as he was a worthy winner and, having had just 11 tries on turf, might be capable of progressing further. Eastern Gift is difficult to win with but Ryan Moore's booking almost convinced us; he's ridden the horse before without success but should inspire an improved performance. However, Gay Kelleway's charge has finished second on no fewer than 10 occasions, winning just twice, and can be opposed once more. King Columbo started favourite ahead of the aforementioned pair last week but had little excuse in third. He won this race last year though off the same mark of 67 and may have been primed for a repeat success. Aviso won readily at Yarmouth back in April and is only 3lbs higher here. A German Group Two winner in 2007, there's every reason to believe he remains well treated but he may prefer soft ground; the market will tell us all we need to know. Saturn Way has been bumped up another 2lbs for taking second last time but is in rude health and appears versatile ground-wise; he's expected to confirm form with maiden Wilfred Pickles despite a 4lb turnaround, with the latter appearing to have attitude problems and perhaps better over seven. Emeebee was further back that day but now races off a career low mark and has Richard Hughes on board for the first time but last week's course and distance contest can hold the key to this race, with Sacrilege taken to once more come out on top.
