A chance is taken with Tanzanite, who edges the vote over Aylmer Road, Chicken Stock and Birthday Star. The last named does need to better the performances of his last two starts, where soft ground did him no favours. He does have each-way claims on the best of his efforts but looks one to oppose if the heavens open. Chicken Stock shaped with promise last time and could be a different proposition now that he has proved he gets this trip well. He is one to watch in the market. Aylmer Road was down to run at Ripon yesterday and it might be as simple that he comes here for the ground. Whatever, the reason for his switch, the fact remains that Frankie Dettori stays until the last to ride him and he is sure to be a popular choice for that reason alone. Therefore, the value might lay with Tanzanite, who is getting her act together well at present. This firmer surface will help her with the trip this evening and with runners from her yard shaping up very nicely this week, this daughter of Revouque looks the sporting suggestion in a tricky finale.
