There should be plenty more to come from Polar Magic, who is selected in preference to comparative old stagers Primo Way and Law Breaker, who fought out a good finish at Lingfield last weekend. Serre Chevalier and All Quiet are others that are open to improvement, while Armagnac is capable of popping up in a race like this and has solid each way claims on the pick of his efforts. All Quiet gets seven furlongs well and should handle this ground. However, he was well held off a lower mark on the All Weather last time out and he has a little to prove tonight. Serre Chevalier was well fancied when just failing at Leicester on his penultimate start and looks worth a try at this tip. He too has more to offer and has each-way claims again here. Law Breaker has taken a little time to come to hand this term but his latest start confirmed that that he still has the ability to go close when he is in the mood. Still, he needs to work hard to reverse the form with Primo Way on the same terms and needs everything to drop just right. Therefore, we go with the far less exposed Polar Magic, who is very much on the upgrade and, with the ground seemingly impervious to this son of Polar Falcon, he is expected to make another bold bid to enhance his profile.
